Service activities
The Apex Club of Goondiwindi is proud to have completed a number of significant projects within the community. Some of the projects include:
●Installation of the concrete pitches and practice nets at the Goondiwindi State School
●The development and maintenance of Apex park on the banks of the McIntyre River
●The construction of the Gunsynd Statue in Apex Park, unveiled on 21st July 1974
●Purchase of a $12,000 Cardiac Defibrilator for the Goondiwindi Ambulance Service
●Purchase of a Baby Foetal Monitor for the Goondiwindi Hospital
●Purchase of a refrigetor and a $3000 donation of Goondiwindi meals on wheels
●Purchase of a set of vision impairment Goggles for the annual “Think the Drink” program
●Annual sponsorship of the Goondiwindi Apex Eisteddfod

●12th November 1960 – Inaugural Dinner
●13th August 1977 - 400th Dinner Meeting
●21st July 1974- Gunsynd Statue Unveiled
●14-15th October 1978 – Hosted Zone 6 Convention
●7th April 1990 – 700th Dinner Meeting
●1993 – New Bar and the Showgrounds opened
●1st June 2002 – 1000th Dinner
